Seeing a local newspaper's sports section contain three articles on sportsmanship cultivated an idea for a sportsmanship column in the Green Bay Press-Gazette.  Thanks to the efforts of the Press-Gazette, Bill Gosse's column became reality in June 2007 on the Youth Sports Page.  The column appeared every other Saturday until February 2008, when the column began appearing every week in the Green Bay Press-Gazette and also the Appleton Post-Crescent.  At times, the column has also appeared in other Gannett Wisconsin Media newspapers.  Those newspapers include: The Reporter, Fond du Lac; Herald Times Reporter, Manitowoc; Marshfield News-Herald; Oshkosh Northwestern; The Sheboygan Press; Stevens Point Journal; Wausau Daily Herald; and The Daily Tribune, Wisconsin Rapids.
